        Cool Block produced from Portland cement with Expanded Polystyrene (EPS/Styrofoam) Flame Retardant grade insulated in the middle. Thermal Conductivity rate of Cool Block (only 0.03 W/mk) is the best compared to the other type of brick.
        Cool Block also has the lowest Water Absorption rate (less than 5%) suitable for the warm and humid countries in Asia. Original know-how of Cool Block come from Europe (Austria) where energy saving is big issue.
         The Super Insulation
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS/Styrofoam) in Cool Block is environment friendly, with only 2% of PS material and 98% air. Expanded Polystyrene is one of the best insulation applied in various kind of construction, e.g. cold storage and External Insulated Finishing System (EIFS) There is no CFC’s in the production process of EPS and it is quiet common to recycle EPS nowadays.
